PanchangBodh's daily horoscope is built with a deterministic Vedic method — grounded in your Moon sign and the day's planetary transits, computed by precise astronomy. There is no guesswork, no invented prophecy and no AI: the same inputs always produce the same forecast.
In Vedic astrology the daily rashifal is read from the Moon's sign, not the Sun sign. For each sign, the houses are counted from that Moon sign as the Janma Rashi. If you don't know your Moon sign, the Birth Rashi calculator will find it.
Using the Swiss Ephemeris with the Lahiri ayanamsha, we find the sign position of all nine grahas for the day (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu). Each planet's favourability follows from its house-from-the-rashi, its dignity (exalted/debilitated/own), and whether it is retrograde or combust. Time-based figures (auspicious / go-easy windows, Bhadra / Panchak / Sankranti) use New Delhi as the documented reference.
Each day is read across nine areas — career, business, finance, love, marriage, family, children, health and education. Every area is scored from its significator (karaka) planets and the transit state of its relevant houses.
Each area and the overall day are shown on five bands — Excellent, Good, Mixed, Challenging and Caution. These are a clear signal of how supportive the day is, not a raw 0–100 number.
Where active, conditions such as Sade Sati, Dhaiya and Chandrashtama are called out. When Chandrashtama applies (the Moon in the eighth from your sign), the overall day is held to Challenging at best.
The wording of each forecast is selected from a hand-authored bilingual library, fixed by the date + sign + area + band. That means one day's horoscope for a sign reads the same every time — there is no randomness and nothing is generated on the fly.
