Shani Gochar 2027 · Saturn transit 2027
After two years in Pisces, Saturn steps into Aries for four and a half months, turns retrograde on 9 August and slips back into Pisces on 20 October. Sade Sati and Dhaiya change hands twice in one year. Here is what moves for each Moon sign, with dates.
3 June 2027 · 9 August · 20 October · 24 December · 23 February 2028
Four Moon signs carry Sade Sati in 2027, four carry Dhaiya, and four carry neither.
Which is yours depends on your Moon sign, not your Sun sign. The table below gives each sign its own line, with the dates.
All dates are in Indian Standard Time; sidereal zodiac, Lahiri ayanamsa, astronomically computed. A sign change close to midnight can fall on the neighbouring date in other time zones.
Sade Sati is the seven and a half years when Saturn passes through the sign before your Moon sign, your Moon sign itself, and the sign after it: three phases of about two and a half years each. Dhaiya is the two and a half years when Saturn sits in the fourth or the eighth sign from your Moon sign.
Because Saturn moves from Pisces to Aries on 3 June and back on 20 October, every list changes twice in 2027. A sign whose Sade Sati begins in June sees it pause in October and resume in February 2028. A sign whose Sade Sati ends in June gets it back for the last ten weeks of the year.
Two lists for 2027. Sade Sati, for part of the year or all of it: Aquarius, Pisces, Aries and Taurus. Dhaiya: Leo, Virgo, Sagittarius and Capricorn. Neither: Gemini, Cancer, Libra and Scorpio.
Houses are counted from the Moon sign. Each line says what Saturn does for that sign on 3 June and on 20 October; the link opens the sign's yearly horoscope.

Saturn's strength in the birth chart, the house it moves through counted from the Lagna, and the dasha running in 2027 decide whether a Sade Sati year feels like pressure or like consolidation. The sign-level lines above are the sky; what the sky does to one chart needs that chart.
Nothing here is a verdict, and nothing on this page recommends a remedy. It is a calendar of where Saturn stands, so that a reader can place the year before deciding anything.
