PanchangBodh provides Hindu calendar information, panchang details, and muhurat timings. We built this service with privacy at its core. We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies, and we don't sell data to third parties.

What Data We Collect

City Preferences

When you select a city, we remember it in your browser (local storage and a small cookie) so you don't have to choose it again. Our server reads it only to show that city's timings and does not keep it.

Contact Form Submissions

If you contact us through our form, we collect your name, email, subject, message, and optionally your city. This data is stored securely in our database (Supabase) and used only to respond to your inquiry.

Newsletter Subscriptions

If you subscribe to our newsletter (feature coming soon), we'll collect your email address to send you panchang updates and festival alerts. You can unsubscribe anytime.

खाता और सहेजी गई रिपोर्ट

जब आप कोई रिपोर्ट ख़रीदते हैं, या अपनी रिपोर्ट एक जगह रखने के लिए साइन इन करते हैं, तो हमारे पास नीचे दी गई जानकारी रहती है। इसका उपयोग केवल आपकी रिपोर्ट बनाने, भेजने व सुरक्षित रखने, खाते में जुड़े लोगों का रोज़ का राशिफल और दशा दिखाने, तथा आपका खाता चलाने के लिए होता है।

आपका ईमेल पता

रिपोर्ट भेजने और आपको साइन इन करने देने के लिए। कौन-से अतिरिक्त ईमेल जोड़ने हैं, यह आप तय करते हैं, और हर ईमेल की पुष्टि एक कोड से होती है। गुण मिलान में आपने दूसरे परिवार को भी प्रति देने को कहा हो, तो उनका ईमेल भी रखा जाता है।

नाम और जन्म विवरण

हर रिपोर्ट के लिए दिया गया नाम और जन्म की तिथि, समय तथा स्थान, ताकि जब भी आप रिपोर्ट दोबारा डाउनलोड करें, वह आपके लिए फिर से बनाई जा सके और उस व्यक्ति की रोज़ की जानकारी निकाली जा सके। परिवार के सदस्यों के जन्म विवरण भी इसी काम आते हैं, और उन्हें उनकी अनुमति से ही जोड़ें।

भुगतान का विवरण

Razorpay या PayPal की भुगतान आईडी, राशि, और भुगतान सेवा से मिले तो भुगतान में इस्तेमाल हुआ ईमेल और फ़ोन नंबर। कार्ड या बैंक का विवरण हम न देखते हैं, न रखते हैं।

टैक्स बिल

हर ख़रीद का GST बिल, जैसा क़ानून में ज़रूरी है।

आपकी पसंद

आपने यह नीति कब स्वीकार की, आपकी 18+ की घोषणा, और नई रिपोर्टों व पर्व-त्योहारों से जुड़े ईमेल आप चाहते हैं या नहीं।

साइन-इन का रिकॉर्ड

आपका खाता ख़रीदों से कैसे जुड़ा (Google से या ईमेल कोड से)। यह हैश के रूप में रखा जाता है, ईमेल पता कभी नहीं।

जानकारी कब तक रखी जाती है

आपका खाता, जुड़े ईमेल और सहेजे गए जन्म विवरण: जब तक आप खाता नहीं हटाते।
बिना खाते के ख़रीदी गई रिपोर्ट के जन्म विवरण: जब तक रिपोर्ट आपकी है, ताकि उसे दोबारा भेजा जा सके।
टैक्स बिल: 72 महीने, जैसा GST क़ानून में ज़रूरी है। खाता हटने के बाद भी ये रहते हैं।
आपकी सहमति और खाता जुड़ने के रिकॉर्ड: प्रमाण के रूप में रखे जाते हैं, आपके ईमेल पते के बिना।
एक बार वाले कोड: दो दिन के भीतर हटा दिए जाते हैं। ख़रीदी हुई रिपोर्ट खोजने के अनुरोध: 90 दिन बाद हटा दिए जाते हैं।

आपके हाथ में क्या है

साइन इन करके "खाता और गोपनीयता" खोलें, वहाँ आप अपनी जानकारी की प्रति डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं, ईमेल से जुड़ी पसंद बदल सकते हैं या खाता हटा सकते हैं। बिना साइन इन किए भी "खाता हटाएँ" पेज से अपनी जानकारी हटाई जा सकती है। दोनों में पहले ईमेल पर भेजा गया नया कोड माँगा जाता है। खाता और गोपनीयता · खाता हटाएँ

जानकारी पर हमारे लिए काम करने वाली सेवाएँ

Supabase (डेटाबेस और साइन इन), Vercel (होस्टिंग), Render (हमारी खगोलीय गणना करने वाला सर्वर), Google (Google से साइन इन, और हमारे ईमेल भेजने वाला मेलबॉक्स), Razorpay और PayPal (भुगतान)। इनमें से कोई भी आपकी जानकारी का किसी और काम में उपयोग नहीं कर सकती।

What We Don't Collect

✓No tracking cookies, no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel. We count visits and measure page speed with Vercel Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify individual visitors.
✓No third-party advertising networks
✓No device fingerprinting or behavioral tracking
✓No sale of your data, and no sharing beyond the services that work for us (listed above)

How We Use Your Data

We use the minimal data we collect to:

Provide accurate panchang timings for your selected city
Make, deliver and re-send the reports you buy, and issue their tax invoices
Respond to your feedback and support requests
Send newsletter updates (only if you subscribe)
Improve our service based on user needs

That's it. We don't use your data for targeted ads, profiling, or anything beyond serving you better panchang information.

Data Storage & Security

Contact form submissions, and the details behind the reports you buy, are stored in Supabase, a secure and compliant database platform. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all data transmission. Your city preference is kept in your browser, not on our servers.

We retain contact form submissions for up to 2 years or until you request deletion. Newsletter subscriptions remain active until you unsubscribe. How long we keep the details behind a report is set out under “Accounts and saved reports” above.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the data we have about you (contact us for a copy)
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data at any time
Unsubscribe from newsletters
Clear your city preference (just select a different city or clear browser storage)

Third-Party Services

The services that process data for us are listed under “Accounts and saved reports” above: Supabase stores it, Razorpay and PayPal take payments, Google's mailbox sends our emails, and Render runs the calculations. We don't share your data with anyone else, and we never sell it.

Our website is hosted on Vercel. They may log basic server information (IP addresses, request timestamps) for infrastructure purposes, but we don't have access to or use this data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll note the date at the top of this page. Continued use of PanchangBodh after changes means you accept the updated policy.
